Our great great grandmother was born Karin Nilsdotter and was also known as Carrie. She had three sons: Jonas, Ole and Nels. Jonas is our great grandfather. Karin was born in 1824 in Ljusdal Sweden. You have done a beautiful job here! I can see you have put in a lot of loving hours on this project. I've been researching my Swedish families which were contemporary with yours. My second great grandfather, Elias Johnson, came to North America in about 1873 to become a minister like John Lundberg. He was a student for one year at Gustavus Adolphus College and then quit to marry my second great grandmother, Carolina Lind who lived in St. Peter. I hope to eventually put together a webpage like this one. Thanks for sharing!

Hello! I came across this site looking for an immigrant family member. I don't know if we're related or not but I'll be coming back to this site. My Lundberg family finally settled in MN. Lundberg is also my maiden name.

I'm researching my own Lundberg family history and came across your site. You've done an incredible job. I'm going to look into whether we are related. My ancestors immigrated to the US from Sweden sometime between 1872 & 1874. My great-great grandfather was born in Nebraska in 1874, but he spent some of his 20s in Minnesota.
